In the Pokémon games, there’s a lot for you to do if you want to complete everything. A YouTuber has now done this in Pokémon Emerald and took nearly 700 hours for it.
Which game is it? Pokémon Emerald is a game from the 3rd generation, released in 2004 for the Game Boy Advance. It is the special edition to the two games Pokémon Ruby and Sapphire.
As is usual for the games, there are also various things to master in Pokémon Emerald if you want to complete the game 100 percent.
While other players start challenges like the Nuzlocke Challenge, a YouTuber has taken on this special challenge in Pokémon Emerald. And it took him some time.
Nearly 700 hours for the perfect game save
Which YouTuber is it? The YouTuber is KarpfeDiem. Even before this challenge, he has mastered other parts of the Pokémon series in this style. This includes Pokémon Yellow, Pokémon Crystal, and Pokémon Colosseum.

- Catch all Pokémon
- Conquer Trainer Mountain
- Find all hidden items
- Obtain all TMs, berries, and items
- Find the Wonder Island
- Complete the Battle Zone
- Defeat all rematch trainers
- Complete the Puzzle House
- Win all contests
- Obtain all ribbons on one Pokémon
- Obtain the golden trainer pass
- Obtain all decorations
- Find at least one shiny
- Master all other little things

How long did he take for the challenge? To complete all the challenges, the YouTuber took a whopping 693 hours. After this time, he achieved everything and was able to rejoice over the perfect Pokémon Emerald game save.
To complete the challenge, he had to rely on several runs to obtain all Pokémon and items. Different editions were also necessary for this.
Where do you know the voice in the intro from? If you watch the YouTuber’s videos, the voice of the narrator in the intro might sound familiar to you. This is the voice of Michael Schwarzmaier, who was the German voice of the narrator in the original Pokémon anime.
