The Twitch streamers Amar and Rohat were together at the gamescom 2023. There they organized challenges and goofed around. However, a nasty prank caused mixed reactions among the viewers.
What kind of prank was that? The currently most viewed clip on Amar’s Twitch channel shows the streamers watching a gamescom visitor during a round of Fortnite. The player, who introduces herself as Laura, seems to have little experience with the Battle Royale, but surprisingly a lot of talent.
When she makes it to the last 2 remaining players, the Twitch streamers try to convince her that by consuming the healing item Slurp Juice, she would become immune to fall damage. When Laura actually jumps from a high point, she is immediately eliminated.

What happened next? Amar bursts into laughter after the “successful” prank while Rohat tries to make excuses. That was probably a bug, maybe that should have been patched out. Laura takes the situation with humor and says goodbye.

How is the action received? The reactions are mixed. While some viewers express their amusement in the chat, others feel sympathy for Laura. They call the action “dishonorable” and “gross.” “Why are you so antisocial?”, writes one person in the chat.
Amar later announced that Laura could report to the Redbull stand at gamescom, no matter what day. As compensation, she would receive a controller from his partner Scuf. The controllers in Amar’s design cost between €190 and €250, which should help comfort Laura over the loss.
