On November 12, the Wok WM 2022 will take place on ProSieben. Among the participants are some of the biggest German content creators: Marcel “MontanaBlack” Eris, Maximilian “Trymacs” Stemmler, Jens “Knossi” Knossala and Sascha “unsympathischTV” Hellinger. The Twitch crew seems to have only one goal in mind: to win at all costs.

What is the Wok WM? It is a format from the TV station ProSieben. In the disciplines “Single Wok” and “Four Wok,” more or less well-known personalities slide down a luge track.
However, they do not sit in a sled or bobsleigh, but in a pan known from Asian cuisine.
The Wok WM was launched in 2003 by Stefan Raab, and then it took place annually until 2015. Now ProSieben is bringing the Wok WM back, and a team consisting of German streamers and YouTubers is participating.
The whole event is moderated by Elton.
Weakness: Unsympathisch TV – Missing the kilos
What strategy are the streamers pursuing? In a talk (via YouTube), Knossi and unsympathischTV discussed their strategy. They agreed on one thing: they want to win.
“Sascha, I talked to Marcel [MontanaBlack], we want to win – this is no joke,” Knossi opened the discussion. unsympathischTV confirmed that he also wants to win.
Knossi has already identified a weakness: The slim unsympathischTV simply does not weigh enough. As the lightest of the four, he will sit right in front of the wok, but Knossi fears that it is not enough to “blast down the slope with 180.”
However, Knossi’s plan could lead to a conflict with the rules:
You need to make sure we somehow strap lead weights to your apron. Really, I’m serious. You’ll be sitting in the front, the strategy is clear: the lightest in front. But you need lead weights. We need to check what the rules say.

Final Boss Joey Kelly
The streamers fear this team: Ironman participant Joey Kelly from the Kelly family will also compete. He has already stood on the winner’s podium of the Wok WM multiple times; in 2004 and 2005 he won gold in the four-man, and in 2006 and 2014 he was victorious in singles.
Knossi apparently considers Joey Kelly to be the most dangerous competition:
He trains and he’s serious about it. He’s one who comes and has all the big companies stuck to his chest, and then it’s on!
Whether the streamers have used the time since their talk to train diligently, or whether they will rely on their cheating strategy remains to be seen. It will also be exciting to see if MontanaBlack will show up, as he seemed unsure about when it would take place just two days before the event (via Twitter):

While Knossi focuses on the weight of unsympathischTV, a completely different factor could lead to the Twitch crew’s downfall: MontanaBlack has a terrible fear of heights, as recently shown during his stream from the Wild Park Schwarze Berge.
