The survival series 7 vs. Wild is entering its third season. MontanaBlack and Elotrix have already declined the show, which is why the show organizer Fritz Meinecke was looking for a replacement. The lucky chosen ones were surprised while on vacation and quickly said yes.
Who is the successor? Fritz Meinecke surprised the German Twitch streamer Kevin “Papaplatte” Teller with a call. The streamer was on vacation in Madeira at the time.
The show organizer took a different approach with the successors: he nominated the previous candidates and set a deadline by which they had to respond. The successors will now be privately contacted by Meinecke.
In a live stream, viewers could closely observe how Papaplatte reacted to the call. You can find the reaction and which participants have already been confirmed on MeinMMO.
MontanaBlack has declined the third season of 7 vs. Wild. Recently, accusations arose that he paid one of his moderators too little:
Request from 7 vs. Wild: This is how the participant reacts
When Fritz Meinecke asked if he was interested in the show, the 26-year-old reacted as follows:
Yes, we have to do it. We have to do it. We’ll do it.
So that’s a pretty clear confirmation. But Papaplatte will not participate alone in the series: this time in the third season of 7 vs. Wild, pairs will compete for victory. Therefore, his colleague Reeze will complete the team, who is also seen in the live stream.
Here is the video from Fritz with the reactions of the streamers:
The team wants to prepare appropriately for the show. Reeze promises that the two of them will now conduct “jungle training” every day. A few seconds after this statement, he opens a soft drink. Cheers!
Which participants are still on board? In addition to Papaplatte and Reeze, the following participants have already been confirmed for the third season:
- Gerrit and Andreas from “Naturensöhne”
- Fritz Meinecke and Survival Mattin
- Jens “Knossi” Knossalla and Sascha Huber
As the name of the show suggests, seven teams will compete against each other. With the confirmation of Papaplatte and Reeze, there are still three free team slots. Therefore, six more people need to be announced who will participate in the show before the start of season 3.
When does the show take place? 7 vs. Wild is set to be filmed sometime in a three-week block in August or September. During this time, participants will be under a complete social media ban. The broadcast will likely be in December again – but there are no concrete details yet.
We can be curious to see if Papaplatte will make as funny a mistake in the show as he did in the story about his sex adventure:
