The Westphalian metalcore band Electric Callboy is known for its crazy videos. Now, they have hired the well-known streamer Kalle Koschinsky to play the lead role in their latest music video. And it embraces everything that makes the internet great. MeinMMO editor Benedict Grothaus is thrilled.
Who is Kalle Koschinsky?
- The streamer and musician is primarily known for his earlier work as the “sidekick” of HandOfBlood, but now he is a successful influencer himself.
- Kalle has been on Twitch since 2016 but announced a break in April 2022, because Twitch “was breaking him”.
- Since then, he has focused more on YouTube and other productions, but he also occasionally streams on Twitch again.
What kind of video is this? “Arrow of Love” is one of the tracks from the new album “Tekkno,” which Electric Callboy released on September 16, 2022. In the corresponding video, Kalle plays the god of love, Cupid, but in a very modern version.
The theme of the song is actually quite straightforward: Love is for everyone and better than violence. We have embedded the music video here for you:
I am a big metal fan anyway and I love the music of Electric Callboy (who are even better live). But what Kalle and the Callboys deliver here in the video simply forces me to celebrate along. Everything about the video is just completely insane.
Instead of using a bow and arrow, as one knows it from mythology, Kalle attacks people with guns, grenades, and explosives to ignite the spark of love. Wherever there is conflict, he ensures happiness according to the motto: “I’ll give you love, shove it right into your face.”
Not only does Kalle in his costume remind one of Rambo, but he also plays with the charm of Call of Duty. Even memes are spread throughout the entire video, such as the well-known “Distracted Boyfriend/Girlfriend” meme (minute 1:18) and “Cool Guys Don’t Look at Explosions” (minute 1:56).
For me as a gamer and metal fan, this is the best mix I could wish for, and at the moment the song is on repeat.

Why is Kalle participating? Electric Callboy often collaborates with German figures from the internet. Kalle is a frequent partner of the band. For example, the song “Castrop X Spandau” was created as a collaboration, in which Kalle himself is elevated to one of the “Callboys”.
As MeinMMO reader BlauMoon explains, Kalle has even developed choreography for Electric Callboy several times. This may be one of the reasons for his appearances.

This is what Kalle says about the video: Kalle has had less to do with metal so far, but he enjoys working with Electric Callboy, as he says: “I like music with a catchy factor, and Electric Callboy does that well, in my opinion.”
As he explained in a livestream on September 21, he only had 3 days to learn the lyrics for “Arrow of Love” by heart. He considers it to be one of the best tracks from the new album.
