Currently, Berlin-based Twitch streamer Kilian “Tanzverbot” Heinrich is facing difficulties: He is severely in debt, his car is broken, and now he is also at risk of losing his apartment.
Which streamer is being referred to? Berlin-based Kilian Heinrich is known as “Tanzverbot” on Twitch and YouTube. But despite his success, he is plagued by problems:
- In November 2023, Tanzverbot admitted that he is severely in debt, we reported on the situation on MeinMMO
- In September 2024, the streamer showed a photo of his car, which had hit a parking garage pillar, on X
- Now, Tanzverbot is also fearing for his apartment
Streamer fears for his apartment
What about the apartment? As Tanzverbot explained on October 10, 2024, on X, the landlord of the streamer wants to sell his apartment, which he was informed about in an email. He then elaborated on the situation during the stream.
The streamer fears that his apartment could be terminated with the change of ownership. His apartment is not a speculation object, according to Tanzverbot; it is too far out for that. He believes that the new owners will register personal use.
Before it comes to that, the streamer has another problem: In order to determine the selling price of the apartment, an appointment with a real estate agent is to be arranged. “First, this is going to be annoying, because constantly some people want to come into my apartment to view it,” Tanzverbot believes.
Moreover, the streamer fears for his privacy. For example, viewers could get the idea to pose as potential buyers to gain access to his apartment.
What’s next? That is currently uncertain. Tanzverbot is at least sure: “This is definitely probably going to be a not-so-nice time.”
At least: First, the apartment has to be sold at all. If the new owner does indeed register personal use, the streamer should still have a few months to look for a new place.
Despite the uncertain situation, Tanzverbot maintains his sense of humor and jokes: Soon it will probably only be IRL streams if he no longer has a home from which to stream.
Maybe this is also an opportunity to change his life situation, thinks a viewer, to which the streamer sarcastically replies that he has just been too comfortable, and he has to get kicked out. Indeed, despite this difficult year, the streamer is currently trying to ramp up on Twitch. Not least because of a bet with MontanaBlack.
