The German Twitch streamer Kunshikitty had a panic attack at the gamescom after several young men harassed her and wouldn’t leave her alone. In a subsequent stream, she spoke with her viewers about the traumatic experience.
Who is Kunshikitty? Eileen, better known as “Kunshikitty” on Twitch, has made a name for herself in the online streaming world. With her first video in 2017, she started her career and now counts 44,000 subscribers on YouTube and 180,000 followers on Twitch among her fans.

What happened at the gamescom? At the gamescom, Kunshikitty initially experienced a joyful moment when she was overwhelmed by the impressions and support of her community, breaking her subscription record. But the happiness did not last long.
Several young men joined her and began loudly joking and harassing her by repeatedly shouting “Monte, you are the best” and confusing her name with the streamer colleague “Fibii.” Kunshikitty politely asked to be left alone, but the men ignored her request.
The situation escalated quickly, and Kunshikitty began to breathe faster – a panic attack was imminent. The men continued to harass her and sarcastically asked if they should call an ambulance, while at the same time loudly screaming for help in the hall.
Desperately, the streamer turned to her viewers and confessed that she was having a panic attack. Soon after, the men left but returned later to harass her again.
What does Kunshikitty say about it? In a recent stream, Kunshikitty looked back at the distressing incident and discussed it with her viewers. She mentioned that the situation was even worse than what was visible in the stream, as some of the men were directly behind the camera and effectively cornered her. “That was really a lousy situation,” she commented.
She expressed her disappointment that the men did not stop despite her pleas and described their behavior multiple times as “unconscionable.”
Why is this topic important to her? Kunshikitty revealed that she has been in similar situations in the past. She recalled a livestream from 2019 when she was also harassed and had to ask for quiet multiple times.
In this case, she had not only reacted verbally but had also fought back physically. She regretted this reaction and knew it was not a solution. As a consequence, she was banned from Twitch for a few days.

Kunshikitty announced that in the future, she would only attend larger events with company, especially when she is mentally distressed. She herself says that if she had been mentally stable, the situation would not have escalated so much.
However, it should be noted that this is not a license to cross the boundaries of streamers or other event attendees. Respect and consideration are crucial to prevent such incidents and ensure a safe environment for everyone.
