The German Twitch streamer XRohat has been playing with the big streamers on Twitch for less than half a year, yet he has raised over 100,000 euros in the last two weeks. How did he manage that?
Who is XRohat? XRohat has been streaming since the beginning of 2019, but for a long time only for a small audience. It wasn’t until September 2021 that he celebrated his first major successes.
From 20 viewers at the beginning, the number grew to several hundred, and now sometimes up to 14,000 fans are watching simultaneously (via sullygnome.com).
The Hamburg streamer owes this mainly to GTA Online RP, through which he has become very well-known in recent months.
2 Weeks Marathon Stream Boosting Him Crazy
This is how the Subathon works: For 17 days now, XRohat has been live on Twitch continuously. He spends a lot of time in GTA Online, closely followed by sleeping. Because even when XRohat is not gaming, he is constantly filming himself. This pays off, as even while he is dreaming, 3,400 people are watching him.
The planned end of the marathon is on October 25th. Then XRohat will take a break.
However, the marathon also means that fans are constantly subscribing. If fans suddenly stop paying, the streamer will end the broadcast – not forever, of course. The more fans donate, the longer the streamer will stay live.
Is it worth it? So far, he has earned around 110,000 € through this concept, an unbelievable sum. Since he has just reached the halfway point, this amount could double again.
Thanks to his continuous stream, XRohat has also rapidly become one of the largest German streamers.
This is how many subs XRohat has now: On October 19 at 2:00 PM, XRohat had about 26,500 active subscriptions (via twitch-tracker.com). He is now only behind MontanaBlack in first place among German streamers and just ahead of FIFA pro EliasN97.
This is an incredible increase, considering that his sub count was at 1,600 active subscriptions in August 2021. He is nearly matching the success of US streamer Ludwig, who was able to earn around 400,000 US dollars with his Subathon. This is equivalent to around 340,000 €, which Ludwig earned in just 186 hours.
On top of that, there are the donations that XRohat has received in the last 17 days. These can only be estimated, but they should amount to at least a five-figure sum.
