The Berlin-based Elias “EliasN97” Nerlich (25) is number 1 in German Twitch. He loves to host large events with many influencers. Now he talks about how working with colleagues is not always that easy.
What kind of situation is this? On September 9, EliasN97 is hosting his Eligella Cup 2023 at the Mercedes-Benz Arena Berlin. In this football event, German Twitch streamers and YouTubers will compete against each other in a total of 8 teams.
There should be almost 70 participants, for whom the streamer will cover travel and accommodation costs. This was apparently not enough for some. A clip of EliasN97 is now circulating on X, formerly Twitter, in which he complains about ungrateful colleagues.

What bothers EliasN97? In the short video, the streamer explains what really angers him: ingratitude. He received a call from his manager shortly before his stream who informed him that there was a problem with the Eligella Cup.
The management of some influencers threatened that their talents would not participate in the event unless some conditions were met:
- Travel must be in first class
- A normal hotel room is not enough; it must be a “very good” one
- All costs should also cover a companion

How does the streamer respond to the demands? EliasN97 says he was about to uninvite the influencers in question. Instead, he seems to have contented himself with sending a memo to management in which he demanded a personal apology for himself and his own management for the special requests.
On X, many users agree with the Twitch streamer and are annoyed by the alleged star attitudes of the influencers. Some are now guessing which content creators or which management might be meant.
However, EliasN97 did not name names. It is also unclear whether the influencers made these special requests or whether management made such demands on its own initiative. The streamer himself will not participate in his event due to an injury.
