Dilara alias Di1ara, a 23-year-old biochemistry student from Munich, is currently conquering the German Twitch. What it is about the streamer in the Shego look, MeinMMO explains to you.
Which streamer is it about? The 23-year-old Dilara appears online as Dilaraa.s or D1araa.s. Although she has been registered on Twitch since 2021, she only held her first stream on August 10, 2023. With an average of over 5,000 viewers, the debut was already a great success.
Since then, Di1ara has already gathered 81,000 followers. But who is the streamer with the striking green look, and why is she so successful right now?

TikToker conquers Twitch with a one-year-old video
This is how successful Di1ara is: The 23-year-old is currently surpassing everyone (as of August 16, 2023):
- with an average of 7,095, she ranks 2nd among the largest German Twitch streamers
- in terms of watch time, she is even ranked 4th nationwide, making her the most-watched woman
- her channel is among the fastest-growing in the world (via sullygnome)
- TwitchTracker ranks her after one week on Twitch already at position 385 among the most popular streamers worldwide
How did she achieve this? Di1ara did not start from scratch. The 23-year-old has been active on TikTok since 2019 and has 6.4 million followers there. Her videos, where she dances, answers fans’ questions, or tries TikTok trends, regularly receive millions of views.
A video that originally appeared in September 2022 attracted special attention. In it, Di1ara tells a short story in musical form. The catchy tune was spread in July 2023 by the Minecraft streamer Stegi, and shortly after, the video was everywhere.
But not only did the song spread like wildfire through German Twitch: The rumor quickly spread that the Twitch streamer was infatuated with the TikToker. Di1ara also noticed this, which led her to start watching Stegi’s streams.

So when Di1ara started her first own stream, she already had the best prerequisites: She had her own strong community and had attracted the attention of the German Twitch scene. Also, the content of the first streams was perfectly chosen: She and Stegi played together Minecraft and It Takes Two, seen by many as the ultimate couple’s game.
Even if she is still getting used to the names of her new Twitch colleagues, the streaming newcomer has now perfectly adapted to the prevailing meta on Twitch. She also does reaction streams or plays Only Up, the platformer that has already broken many streamers.
The 23-year-old has at least gotten a foot in the door on Twitch. It remains to be seen whether she can turn the current hype into a stable community on the new platform in the long term and whether she even has the desire to stream over a longer period.
After all, she also has her master’s degree in biochemistry to consider.
Other content creators repeatedly criticize that it is difficult to grow on Twitch. You usually have to build a community on another platform first to then move them to Twitch. Particularly, TikTok seems to be perfectly suited for this and has already produced several success stories:
