With Paste Fate, a new and exciting MMORPG awaits us. The developers want to launch a Kickstarter campaign now to realize their vision properly.
What does Paste Fate have to offer? You are wandering in a large sandbox world. Basically, you can do whatever you want there. However, you can expect plenty of battles against monsters, and you can even complete quests. The MMORPG also offers a special feature: Due to dark magic in the world, it is possible for you to transform into monsters at night.
- You try your hand at WoW-like raids
- PvP takes place on battlefields and also on PvP servers
- You can hire mercenaries
- You can set sail
Especially German players see great potential in the MMORPG
How is the MMORPG received? Past Fate is already playable in an alpha version. However, this version does not yet offer all features and is still in an early state. Nevertheless, there are already first opinions about the game. Interestingly, the community on Discord consists of 60% German players according to the developers. Past Fate seems to hit a nerve in Germany.
Although there is currently not much to do in the game, that does not bother the testers much. They are much more interested in being part of the creation of an MMORPG and being able to provide feedback in the early phase. They want to see what changes through patches, what new things come in, and it is fun to be able to influence the game’s direction with their opinions.

- Adoacer explains: “Man, I love this game. Only the combat seems a bit dull. But everything else is superb. This game will be successful. I know it.”
- 27Prozent says: “I want to be honest. It’s not bad, it’s not great. It’s okay. The alpha represents what the game is about and what we can expect.”
How can you participate? Join the Discord channel of Past Fate and ask for a Steam key. Then download the client and you can participate as long as the alpha is running. However, there will be more testing phases.
What is happening with the game? The Finnish developers of Icy North Games are launching a Kickstarter campaign on July 23 to finance the further development of the MMORPG.
Otherwise, the team continues to work on new features, bug fixes, and optimizations, with the feedback from the Discord community playing an important role.
