The prayers in the co-op RPG Genshin Impact, that is, the random loot boxes, will be renewed on October 20. You will be able to use two new prayers that primarily increase the chance of obtaining the 5-star character Klee and two 5-star weapons.
These are prayers: To obtain new characters or weapons, you can use the prayers in the game. They are basically loot boxes with random loot. In our FAQ about the Gacha system, we go into more detail.
Two of the three prayers are so-called action prayers, which have an increased drop rate for certain characters and weapons and are regularly updated. The third prayer “Wanderlust” offers no advantages but remains available indefinitely.
When will the prayers be updated? The current action prayers will cease their service on October 18, 2020, at 6:59 PM. The new prayers will then start on October 20, 2020, at 7:00 PM German time on the European servers.
How long do the prayers last? The prayers have a duration of about 3 weeks and end on November 9 at 6:59 PM.
Increased drop rate for Klee in the “Flaming Steps” prayer
One of the two new action prayers increases the chance for characters. However, don’t be misled, as weapons can also be included in this prayer.
This is the “Flaming Steps” prayer: This prayer puts the 5-star character Klee in the spotlight. A little girl with a penchant for massive explosions and the element of fire. Additionally, there are more characters with increased drop rates:
- 5-star character “Fleeing Sun” Klee (DPS, Fire)
- 4-star character “Noble Youth” Xingqiu (Support, Water)
- 4-star character “Bud of Chivalry” Noelle (DPS, Healer, Earth)
- 4-star character “Innocent and Sweet” Sucrose (Support, Wind)
In our MeinMMO Tier list of characters, they are ranked from C to B.
This is the drop rate: The base probability of pulling a 5-star hero remains a meager 0.6%. The chance of Klee appearing is 50%. If you still pull another 5-star hero, the chance for Klee on the next lucky hit is 100%.
The 4-star characters appear with a base probability of 5.1%. If you pull a 4-star hero, the chance for one of the three action heroes is also 50% and on the 2nd attempt is 100%.
The best two-handed sword is in the “Divine Work” prayer
The second new prayer increases the drop rate for specific weapons. So, if you want to do something nice for your favorite hero, invest your fates here.
This is the “Divine Work” prayer: The focus here is on two 5-star weapons and five 4-star weapons. Including the strongest two-handed sword in the game. In this prayer, anything can be included, only the drop rate for the following items is increased:
- 5-star weapon Wolf’s Gravestone (Claymore)
- 5-star weapon Prayer of the Four Winds (Catalyst)
- 4-star weapon Sacrificial Sword (Sword)
- 4-star weapon Sacrificial Greatsword (Claymore)
- 4-star weapon Sacrificial Rituals (Catalyst)
- 4-star weapon Sacrificial Bow (Bow)
- 4-star weapon Dragonspine Spear (Polearm)
This is the drop rate: The base probability of pulling a 5-star weapon is still only 0.7%. If you pull a legendary weapon, the chance for Wolf’s Gravestone or Prayer of the Four Winds is 75% higher than for the other 8 legendary weapons. If you still have bad luck and pull another 5-star weapon, you are guaranteed to get one of the action weapons the second time.
The base probability of the 4-star weapons is 6%, and here too the chance of getting one of the 5 action weapons on the first attempt is 75%. The second pull of a 4-star weapon is then a guaranteed action weapon if the first one didn’t work out.
If you want to use the current prayers, you have until the evening of October 18, specifically until 6:59 PM. Currently, the drop rate for Venti and Fischl is increased, two popular characters from the tier list as well as for a legendary bow and one-handed sword.
