Patch 2.5 of Genshin Impact is entering the last 3 weeks soon and new banners are coming. This time, the Gacha banners could really pay off for you, as they bring back some strong characters that can be very useful to you. MeinMMO reveals who you can summon soon.
Every 6 weeks, new patches are released in Genshin Impact, each with two phases containing different, new Gacha banners. Each phase lasts for 3 weeks.
Which character banners can you expect this time? This time there will be 2 character banners at the same time. Both banners are reruns and bring back the strong, popular character Raiden Shogun and healer Kokomi (via Twitter).
Additionally, these 4-star characters are in both banners:
- Bennett (Pyro)
- Xinyan (Pyro)
- Sara Kujou (Electro)
What weapon banner can you expect this time? Alongside the reruns of the characters, the 5-star signature weapons of Raiden Shogun and Kokomi are coming: The spear Grasscutter’s Light and the catalyst Everlasting Moonglow (via Twitter).
Additionally, the following 4-star weapons are included:
- Mouun’s Moon (Bow)
- Dragonspine Spear (Polearm)
- Ritual of Sacrifice (Catalyst)
- Favonius Lance (Polearm)
- Akuoumaru (Claymore)
When are the banners coming? On March 8th at 6 PM, the current banners will disappear and will be replaced by the new ones at 7 PM. From then on, you can summon on the Gacha banners for three weeks, until March 29th.
Why are the character banners particularly worthwhile this time?
The Electro user Raiden Shogun is one of the strongest and most useful characters in the game. The current monsters in the endgame dungeon generate hardly any energy particles, and Raiden Shogun compensates for the energy supply through her abilities.
Moreover, more and more characters with high energy costs are being added to Genshin Impact, which require a lot of elemental energy particles; Raiden Shogun addresses this issue.
She not only supports the team’s special abilities with her own special ability, but she can also deal significant damage.
If you already own Raiden Shogun, it can still be worthwhile to pull for her. Her constellations continue to enhance her. Especially the 2nd constellation greatly increases her damage numbers as it allows her to ignore 60% of enemies’ defense when she uses her special ability.

These characters are also worthwhile: Additionally, the powerful supporter Bennett, sub-DPS Sara Kujou, and healer Kokomi are definitely worth it.
Bennett and Sara Kujou boost your team members with an attack buff. Furthermore, Bennett can heal your team and reliably collect Pyro energy particles with his elemental ability.
Kokomi was so hated at her release that her voice actress was bullied, but she is now among the top picks in the endgame dungeon. With the new artifact set introduced in Patch 2.3, the Hydro healer became stronger and can now deal reliable damage while healing.
It is definitely worthwhile to summon on the banners if you need more constellations or do not yet own Raiden Shogun.
