In Genshin Impact there are many sweet little details that players only notice if they have a watchful eye. Some fans have noticed that a certain cloud is no longer visible in the sky of Teyvat. They call the bug “unbelievable” and even contacted Genshin Impact’s customer support.
Which cloud are we talking about? We’re referring to a larger cat-shaped cloud that you can find at the Asase Shrine in Inazuma. You can best admire it in the south of the island. But not every player can see the little cloud, as you need to complete quests first.
Which quests do you need to complete? “Neko is a cat” is the name of the quest line and you can only complete one of the nine quests daily.
Once you have completed the entire quest line, you will receive the achievement “Cat in the Clouds” and can now see the cat-shaped cloud at any time – at least in theory. Because some players have now reported that their beloved cloud is suddenly no longer visible in the sky.
Cat-shaped cloud missing: “Genshin Impact is literally unplayable!”
Reddit user TheEdelBernal wrote a thread about how much he misses his beloved cat cloud (via reddit). It is his favorite spot to just hang out in Genshin Impact and listen to the music.
TheEdelBernal searched the entire island but couldn’t find the cute cloud again. He promptly contacted the game’s customer service, who even responded within a few hours (via reddit). Customer support could not fix the bug immediately but acknowledged that there was a problem, the reddit user said.
The responses in TheEdelBernal’s reddit thread are filled with irony:
- Grimstarzz: “You shouldn’t have anything in Teyvat.”
- leopoldshark just shouted with shaking fists: “CELESTIAAA!”
- Kiefer2018 demands as compensation primordial resin and Playernotcopper replied: “No, man. That stuff is very personal. FREE 5-STAR CHARACTER!”
- osyady and some others are now totally sure: “Literally unplayable.”
Other players also reported that their cat cloud had disappeared. Together they theorized that completing quests in patch 2.4 might be the cause of its disappearance.
However, we at MeinMMO surveyed various people who could not confirm this theory: For us, the cloud is still present in the game, regardless of whether quests from patch 2.4 were completed or not.
