A player started with Genshin Impact at release and has logged in every day since. Recently he reached the maximum rank. He shares his experiences with the community.
“I am Shahar. I have been playing and loving Genshin Impact since the release,” he begins his post in the official forum as well as on reddit. He talks about how he started playing the game back then with his friends, who gradually stopped going online. Only he remained and didn’t miss a single day – he logged in for 662 consecutive days.
Even though the content becomes dry and he struggles to progress, Shahar logs in every day to not break the streak.
By now, he has reached AR60, which is the highest adventure rank. Here you can find his reddit post.
He didn’t spend real money on Genshin Impact
What makes Shahar’s story even more special is the fact that he didn’t spend a single cent on Genshin Impact. “I was tempted to invest money, but I chose to maintain my status as a Free2Play player,” the player explains.
He feels that he has a special role and title – AR60 without spending money, which not everyone achieves.
It took about a year for the first players to reach the maximum rank at all. This already indicates how high the effort is, even if you invest money.
Is there a reward for the highest rank? Yes, but it is relatively laughable. For the eternal grind to AR60, players receive a few wishes, primogems, and upgrade materials for weapons and characters.
So if someone expected a special reward for reaching rank 60, they will be disappointed.
Nevertheless, Shahar thanks the developers and the community at the end of his post for the time he had and will continue to have.
What do you think about Shahar’s personal achievement? Could you manage to log in daily for 2 years without missing a day? What adventure rank have you already achieved in Genshin Impact?
