The developers did not reveal exact details about this item. They merely confirmed that such an item will appear with patch 1.1. In a leak on reddit, however, its functions were described as follows:
You can place the teleporter anywhere and it remains in that location for a maximum of 7 days before it fades away. You can place it wherever you want.
While there are already several ways to fast travel in Genshin Impact in the form of teleport points and the Statues of The Seven, some players have still called for such an item. And indeed, it could create some new possibilities.
Free teleports to world bosses or for farming routes
What is the teleporter good for? Despite the coverage of the port points, there have always been places where players had to travel a greater distance or even climb mountains.
The teleporter now provides the opportunity to place your own waypoint directly at certain world bosses or at the start of a farming route for chests or resources. You can then regularly travel there and complete your planned task.
