At the start of Update 2.6, you can secure a lot of Primogems in Genshin Impact. You don’t even have to do much for this – just make sure you don’t miss it. MeinMMO tells you what you need to do.
On March 30, the Update 2.6 for Genshin Impact was released, bringing some new content. Among other things, the new character Ayato Kamisato is included, as well as new reruns of the 5-star characters Venti and in 3 weeks Ayaka Kamisato.
Furthermore, the area “great chasm” is coming, which introduces a new boss. You can see all the content here in the video.
The new characters can only be obtained through a lucky draw in the Gacha system. However, if you’re quick, you can easily grab 940 Primogems right now. You don’t have to do much for this.
How to get the Primogem gift in Genshin Impact
How do I get the gifted Primogems? To obtain all 940 Primogems, you don’t have to do much. You just need to act quickly. Here’s how:
- 900 Primogems you receive via in-game messages. To do this, open the Paimon menu in the game and select the envelope symbol on the left side of the screen. This will take you to your mailbox.
- In the mailbox, you should find 3 messages. All 3 contain 300 Primogems each.
- 300 Primogems are compensation for the server maintenance that takes place before each patch.
- Another 300 Primogems are compensation for the “Vessel of Remembrance” not being available during maintenance.
- Additionally, there are another 300 Primogems for issues in version 2.5. Among other things, this included unintended attacks by Yae Miko on random enemies and ability bugs while sprinting.
- Important: Whether you were affected by the bugs is irrelevant. Everyone receives this compensation.
- Click “Claim All” at the bottom left to instantly collect the 900 Primogems.
You can also obtain more Primogems by trying out the current 5-star characters. This is also very simple:
- Select the “Actions” field in the Paimon menu (the icon for this is a compass).
- Under the “Trial” option, you should see Kamisato displayed. From here click on “Try” in the bottom right.
- Complete the challenge and click on “Leave Dungeon”.
- If you click on “Trial” again in the action overview, you should be able to secure the 20 Primogems, where it says “In Progress” on the image above.
You can also try the 4-star characters currently available in the banner in this way. While you won’t receive Primogems, you will get character-relevant materials for leveling up.
Until when can I get the Primogems? The 900 Primogems you receive via messages will expire 30 days after the start of Patch 2.6. You have until April 29, 2022 to secure these 900 Primogems.
With Patch 2.6, you not only get the opportunity to secure a lot of Primogems, but also to discover new content.
And: There are already hints for what might come next. New characters have already been introduced, which could be an exciting option in terms of support. These include the Hydro character Yelan and Electro ninja Kuki Shinobu.
