As an introduction to the Patch 2.2 of Genshin Impact, the character Tartaglia will receive a banner for the third time on October 13. The additional fighters in the banner are very familiar to the community.
Tartaglia is the first character to receive a second rerun in Patch 2.2. He is likely getting the banner because he will be part of the upcoming story in the new update.
Who is Tartaglia? Tartaglia, also known as “the Count” or “Childe,” is one of the last Elves of the Fatui. He is combative and has already achieved several successes on the battlefield.
The Count is always on the lookout for new fights and challenges to strengthen his combat power – he will go to any lengths to achieve this. He even constantly lies to his little brother to maintain his facade as a loving toy seller.
These are Tartaglia’s abilities: Childe is a 5-star character who uses a bow as a weapon and possesses the Hydro element. With his elemental ability, he can switch between his bow and two blades. The blades deal damage faster and distribute the Hydro attribute to opponents.
Tartaglia’s special ability deals enormous area Hydro damage and is extremely useful in boss fights when you support him with the rest of the team.

The community mocks Tartaglia’s banner
This is Tartaglia’s banner: Together with Tartaglia, three other 4-star characters come – Ningguang, Yanfei, and Chongyun (via Twitter). Furthermore, a weapon banner has also been announced, which contains useful 5-star weapons for Tartaglia and Ningguang. There is also a limited 4-star weapon called “Akuoumaru” included (via Twitter).
What does the community say about Tartaglia’s banner? The community has noticed that Childe’s banner resembles another one that isn’t too far in the past: Ayaka’s banner. It had the exact same 4-star characters as Tartaglia’s upcoming banner:

This has made the banner even less attractive for fans. Many had hoped that characters like Bennett or Noelle would be available.
While some are simply dissatisfied, others joke about Tartaglia’s banner – as in this video:

Since most fans didn’t want to pull for Tartaglia anyway, and their only hope lay in the 4-star characters, most are sure that this banner will sell very poorly. Moreover, following this banner is Hu Tao’s. She is one of the strongest characters in Genshin Impact, and many want to have her, so they are saving their valuable wishes for her banner.
