In the co-op RPG Genshin Impact, you have the choice between two main characters. These are the twins Lumine and Aether, a girl and a boy.
The new game is popular in the community. And many players choose the protagonist Lumine. This is also shown by a poll on reddit from user Shironeko_25, in which 781 players participated:

The agony of choice with the main character
What can the main characters do? Ultimately, it is completely up to you which of the two twins you choose. Lumine and Aether have the same story as well as the same abilities. Both fight with a sword and elemental attacks, and their stats are the same at the start:
- Max HP – 912
- Attack – 41
- Defense – 57
- Max Stamina – 100
Which of the two you choose is therefore a matter of personal taste, as you will have to watch their back all the time. And if you did make the wrong choice, you can still switch to your new characters.
You can unlock them through Genshin Impact’s gacha system. Here, getting a character or weapon of the highest tier is ridiculously low.
What is the background? The story of Genshin Impact begins with a cutscene and both twins. They encounter a rather hostile goddess during their journey through the dimensions, who promptly attacks them.
Then you come into play and have to choose one of the two twins during the battle. The other will be kidnapped by the goddess, and you will be left alone.
