In Genshin Impact, a new event called “Ritual of the Street Offering of the Three Worlds” has started. However, those who mainly rely on the combination of shield and damage won’t get far here.
What kind of event is this? The “Ritual of the Street Offering of the Three Worlds” takes you back to the beautiful, underground world of Enkanomiya. The event runs until the end of Version 2.5 – so you have plenty of time for the event.
Enkanomiya is shrouded in a strange darkness, and you must defend yourself against new enemies that come with new buffs and tactics. It’s worth it, because there are many rewards like Primogems or even a special weapon waiting for you.
Especially the new opponents may trouble you if you rely on the popular combination of shield and attack.
In the new event, healers suddenly become key figures in your party
Why are healers suddenly important? With the new event, Genshin Impact has introduced a new enemy type. They are called Shadowy Husk and come in various forms. When these enemies hit a character protected by a shield, it either heals their allies or distributes a strong shield to them.
Many players like to “hide” their damage dealers with low health behind shields. Because such “glass cannons” deal more damage than relying on items that provide health points.
However, this tactic only partially works in the new event. With every hit on your shields, you buff the enemies significantly. And suddenly, healers become really important, and it no longer counts to just deal a lot of damage. This will likely shake up the strategy of some users quite a bit.

Why are many so satisfied? Looking at the users’ comments, many explain that the event is well-structured: the new event eliminates many annoying mechanics that have only disturbed other events:
- No resources are locked behind time gates, allowing you to play the event at your leisure. In other events, you could only unlock a certain amount of event currency each day.
- No boss has to be defeated a dozen times, as was the case with the New Year event.
- There are no lengthy dialogues or quest givers sending you around for hours. Paimon may be annoying, but not more than usual.
Some users even claim that the current event is the best event in Genshin Impact so far. Whether that’s really true, everyone must decide for themselves.
