“The Game Awards” are over, and Genshin Impact knows how to celebrate it properly. They not only showed a brand new trailer featuring Yun Jin but are also giving you a total of 1,600 Primogems. This is among the most Primogems that the developers have ever just handed out to players. MeinMMO will tell you how to get these gems.
How do you get the Primogems? You need to fulfill these requirements to secure the full amount of Primogems:
- Reached Adventure Rank 7 or higher.
- Log in to the game before the end of Patch 2.3 and collect the Primogems from the in-game mail.
Because you won’t receive all 1,600 Primogems at once. From December 11 to December 14, Genshin Impact will distribute 400 Primogems each day that you can collect in the in-game mail. If you log in on December 15, you will receive the whole amount at once.
How long does Patch 2.3 last? Patch 2.4 is expected to come on January 5, 2022. So you can safely secure the Primogems until January 4.
And which trailer with Yun Jin is it about? During the night of the Game Awards 2021, Genshin Impact released a trailer featuring the new characters: Gorou and Itto. At the very end of the trailer, you get a cheeky sneak peek of Yun Jin:
The Genshin Impact community is ecstatic
Genshin Impact wrote a little Twitter post around 4 a.m., thanking their community because, thanks to their help, they received the award for best mobile game (via Twitter). Along with it was the announcement about the distribution of 1,600 Primogems. People are excited about it:
- Notorious_nurse sums it up: “Banger tweet.”
- Carpiim is totally surprised: “A ten-pull? Okay, who is this? Who kidnapped miHoYo? They would never do something like this.”
- AgeGatebox has words of praise: “Genshin Impact is a good game. It deserves to win an award. Last year it could have won the award for best ongoing game of the year.”
- YOIMIYAKA posted just a creepy but fitting image of a monster eating Primogems:

The comments under the trailer are almost overwhelmingly positive (via YouTube):
- Veetamins can’t get enough: “Ignore me. I’m just here to replay Yun Jin’s part over and over for over 5 minutes.”
- Aldy Belajar has already decided: “I will definitely pull for her [Yun Jin].”
- CorrinSimp refers to the trailer of Itto, where Ayato stole the spotlight: “First Ayato and now Yun Jin, poor Itto.”
- ß beters fears for his finances: “Aaaah, my wallet!!”
Overall, the mood seems to be positive. After all the drama and complaints, it’s really nice to see this.
