At the start of Update 2.5, you will receive a lot of Primogems in Genshin Impact once again. You don’t have to do much for that. MyMMO will tell you how to secure your Primogems.
Today, Update 2.5 in Genshin Impact has started, bringing new content to the game. Along with the new Electro heroine Yae Miko, an old acquaintance is also a new boss.
You can only get the shrine maiden Yae Miko like all characters through a lucky draw in the Gacha system. However, if you hurry, you can easily secure 620 Primogems right now. That is almost enough for 4 additional wishes that you can use for the 5-star character. You don’t have to do much for this Primogem.
How do I get the gifted Primogems? The 620 Primogems are easy to obtain, you just need to act quickly. Here’s how:
- You will receive 600 Primogems in your in-game mailbox. To do this, open the Paimon Menu and select the letter icon on the left side of the screen.
- In the mailbox, you should find 2 messages. Both contain 300 Primogems each.
- You will receive 300 Primogems as compensation for the server maintenance that takes place before each patch.
- You will receive another 300 Primogems as compensation for various errors in Patch 2.4. You will get the Primogems regardless of whether you were affected by the errors or not.
- Click on “Collect All” in the bottom left to immediately gather the 600 Primogems.
Now you have secured 600 of the 620 Primogems!
How do you get the remaining 20 Primogems? You will get the remaining 20 Primogems by testing Yae Miko in the trial run. This is also very simple and quick to do:
- Select the “Actions” field in the Paimon Menu (the icon for this is a compass).
- Under “Trial Run,” you should see Yae Miko displayed. Click “Try” in the bottom right of the menu.
- Complete the challenge and click “Leave Dungeon.”
- Go back to the “Trial Run” menu. You can grab the 20 Primogems after finishing the dungeon by clicking where it says “In Progress” in the image above.
You can also try the 4-star characters available in the current banner with this method. While you won’t get any Primogems, you will receive materials relevant for leveling up the characters. This is especially worthwhile since all the characters in this banner are very strong.
Until when can I receive the Primogems? The 600 Primogems you receive through the mailbox expire in 30 days. So you have until March 18 to secure your Primogems.
The Primogems from the trial run will be available until the end of Yae Miko’s banners. So you can grab these 20 Primogems until March 08.
