Two new characters in one banner
What kind of characters are they? Wanderer and Faruzan are both characters of the Anemo element and they will be featured together in the Wanderer banner right at the start of Patch 3.3.
Wanderer himself is a 5-star character, main DPS, and uses the Catalyst weapon. He works best with the new weapon Tulaytullah’s Memory and relies on the Chronicle of the Desert Pavilion for artifacts.
He was the rogue in Patch 3.2, as he sought to elevate himself to godhood with the help of the Sumeru Academia’s sages and the Gnosis of Raiden Shogun. Now he joins us.

Faruzan is a bow user and has 4 stars. She focuses on Elemental Burst damage, and therefore, Elegy for the End is the perfect weapon for her.
Faruzan also comes from the Sumeru Academia and was a machinist there, knowing everything about her field and always being helpful to others.
What other banners are there? Around Patch 3.3, there will be three reruns of old banners featuring the following characters:
- Raiden
- Itto
- Ayato
Card game “Genius Invocation” as a major novelty
What kind of card game is this? Genius Invocation is a new minigame that you can play against NPCs as well as other players. It is played turn-based, and the goal is to defeat all of the opponent’s characters while mastering various challenges. For games against NPCs, you will gain progress, but when playing against friends, it’s just for fun.
There are two types of cards:
- Characters
- Action cards – action cards are further divided into Equipment, Event, and Support cards
Each round, you draw cards from your deck that you can then play. The cards are played using elemental dice. At the start of each round, you roll 8 eight-sided dice and gain points for the 7 elements of the game. You can then use these points to play cards.
It is currently unclear how you will obtain your first card set. However, you should earn experience points through playing and thus acquire new cards to build your deck. Additionally, there will be an in-game shop where you can buy new cards with Lucky Coins – a special currency for the card game.

The quests and events of Patch 3.3
What are the new quests? With update 3.3, a continuation of Chapter 3 Act 5 will be introduced. You will most likely have to complete the quests Akasha Pulses, the Kalpa Flame Rises first.
What about new events? The new patch introduces 5 new events:
- Akitsu Kimodameshi is a new event in Inazuma
- Across the Wilderness is an event of the Adventurers’ Guild, where you must collect balloons
- Misty Dungeon: Realm of Sand is a dungeon event
- Windrace is a Hide-and-Seek event that has already taken place and is now being repeated
