In Genshin Impact, the second half of the event from update 2.8: The “Reminiscence Tour” starts on August 4th. You can face a total of 6 challenges, but you need to find a co-op partner for that.
The event takes you back to the Golden Apple Archipelago, where you must complete several challenges on the islands. These are divided into three categories:
- Descent: Jump off a platform and fight your way down. Within a certain time, you must defeat all enemies on the platforms and reach the water surface.
- Storm Attack: Within a limited time, you navigate a wave rider across the sea while defeating enemies on platforms in between.
- Ship Escort: You escort a raft to a destination and ensure it is not destroyed.
There are 2 challenges of each variant, so you can complete a total of 6.
However, you cannot complete all 6 immediately. Starting from August 4th, a new challenge will be added each day, beginning with the two descents, then the storm attack, and finally the ship escort. By August 9th, all challenges will be available. The event runs until August 15th.
Some Genshin Impact players feel that the updates are released too quickly. They can’t keep up with their resin.
Here you can see the trailer for patch 2.8:
What are the requirements? To participate in the event, you need to have reached adventure rank 32. Additionally, you must complete the quest “A Summer Stay by the Sea I,” the first part of the event from the patch 2.8.
Most importantly, you need a partner to participate. The challenges cannot be started solo. You can either form the group yourself or find a random player through the multiplayer mode.
What rewards are there? After completing each challenge, you will receive rewards. These include Original Resin, Mora, Hero’s Wit, and materials to upgrade your talents.
What do you think of the event? Does the necessity of co-op finally lead to playing Genshin Impact together instead of always wandering alone? Do you think this brings players closer together? Have you already played the first part of the event? Feel free to let us know in the comments here on MeinMMO!
