With version 3.6, Baizhu comes as a new 5-star character in Genshin Impact. We have created an overview of which materials you need for character ascension (Ascension Materials) and talent leveling.
When is Baizhu’s release date? Version 3.6 starts on April 12, 2023, in Genshin Impact. However, there will initially be rerun banners for Nahida and Nilou. Baizhu’s event banner will then launch in phase 2, appearing on May 2, 2023.
However, you can already farm all the materials for Baizhu’s ascension and talent improvement.

How do I farm Baizhu’s ascension materials?
- Nagadus Emerald: You get this material through boss fights against Dendro-type opponents. Defeat the Dendro Hypostasis or the Feathered Fungal Beast.
- Fungal Spores, Luminescent Pollen, Crystalline Cyst Dust: You obtain these materials by defeating Fungal Beasts.
- Violetgrass: The plant grows on cliffs in Liyue.
- Evergloom Ring: You obtain this material through boss fights against the enemy “Lesser Righteous” from level 30.

- Worldspan Fern: A material that you can earn in the sphere “Realm of Beginnings”.
