Today, on May 24, 2024, there was a big livestream in Genshin Impact with a preview of the upcoming game content.
The new version 4.7 carries the motto “An Everlasting Dream Interwined.” In German, it is called “Verwoben mit einem immerwährenden Traum.” It will be available in Genshin Impact starting June 5, 2024.
In the new version 4.7, players can expect:
- 3 new playable characters
- 2 rerun banners
- new Archon quest
- new sphere
- and more

These are the new banners in version 4.7 featuring Clorinde, Sigewinne, and Sethos
Who are the new characters? We got to know Clorinde in the Fontaine quest as the duel representative of the city. She is a 5-star character who fights with a one-handed sword and Electro.
Sigewinne is also a Fontaine character, where she works as the head sister of Fort Méropide. She is also a 5-star character and fights with a bow and the Hydro element.
The third new character, Sethos, will be added to the game in the new version. You already encountered him in Cyno’s new story quest in the current version. He is a 4-star character who also uses a bow and belongs to the Electro element.
What banners will there be in version 4.7? As usual, the banner phases will be divided into 2 phases.
In the first phase, the banners of these 5-star characters will run:
- Clorinde (Electro and one-handed sword)
- Alhaitham (Dendro and one-handed sword)
Sethos (Electro and bow) can also be obtained as a 4-star character through these banners.
In the second phase, these two special banners will follow:
- Sigewinne (Hydro and bow)
- Furina (Hydro and one-handed sword)
During the livestream, 3 new promo codes were released again – but they are not valid for long: Genshin Impact: 3 new promo codes will give you 300 Primogems – but you have to hurry
What else will there be in version 4.7? In addition to a new Archon quest that not only brings us a reunion with Dainsleif but also with our long-lost twin, the two new characters Sigewinne and Clorinde will also have their story quests added to the game.
Starting July 1, there will be a new monthly updated challenge sphere called “Theater of
dreamlike reality”. The Twisted Abyss will be updated every month on the 16th in the future.
There will also be events like “Security-related combat scenarios,” where you can earn rewards like Primogems and a special bow.
Additionally, there will be system changes aimed at improving the player experience. Probably the biggest change is that the maximum amount of original resin is increased from 160 to 200.
At the end of the special broadcast for version 4.7, there was also a small first sneak peek into the upcoming region Natlan. Players can still expect this region later this year. An animated short video featuring Lumine and Aether was also released during the livestream.
