The special program for version 3.6 in Genshin Impact has concluded and provided players with a glimpse of the new characters, banners, and events.
On March 31, 2023, a major livestream took place showcasing the new content in Genshin Impact. The next version 3.6 is themed “A Parade of Providence”. The release date for version 3.6 is April 12.
In version 3.6 there are:
- 2 new playable characters
- 3 rerun banners
- Events, new enemies, and another area

These are the banners in version 3.6 featuring Baizhu and Kaveh
Who are the new characters? A well-known NPC from Liyue is debuting as a playable 5-star character in version 3.6. We are talking about Baizhu, the owner of Bubu Pharmacy. He is a Dendro and Catalyst user. His constellation is called Lagenaria.
Regarding his ability it is said: “Baizhu can generate a seamless shield with healing effects for your group members at regular intervals. Certain reaction DMG caused by characters healed by the Seamless Shield will be increased” (via Genshin Impact Special Program).
Additionally, NPC Kaveh will also be playable, an architect and roommate of Alhaitham. He is a 4-star character who is also part of the Dendro element. He fights with a claymore. Kaveh’s constellation is called Paradisaea.
Kaveh is an offensive character who fights with the suitcase Mehrak: “Mehrak’s mapping ability can also be used for offensive purposes and deals Dendro DMG. He not only enhances Kaveh’s combat abilities but is also capable of bursting all Dendro cores within a certain AoE range immediately” (via Genshin Impact Special Program).

What banners will there be in version 3.6? The new version will unfold in 2 phases:
- In the first half, you can get the rerun banners for Dendro Archon Nahida and Hydro dancer Nilou.
- In the second half, along with Baizhu, the Cryo character Ganyu will have an event banner.
The new character Kaveh will also be available through the event banners of the 2nd phase.
What else will there be in version 3.6? In addition to the characters and banners, there will be a large academy event with various mini-games where you can earn numerous rewards.
New story quests featuring Baizhu and Nahida, an additional desert area in Sumeru, and new enemies will also be added to the game – including the “Dragon of the Bright Greens” and the opponent types “Hilichurl-Anemo-Runner” and “Hilichurl-Hydro-Runner”.
