The special program for version 3.5 in Genshin Impact took place on February 17, 2023. Players received information about the new characters as well as upcoming banners and events.
On February 17, 2023, there was a major livestream in Genshin Impact showcasing the upcoming game content. The new version 3.5 carries the motto “Breath of the Windblume” and will be available starting March 1, 2023.
In the new version, players can expect:
- 2 new playable characters
- 3 rerun banners
- the Windblume Festival
- 1 new Archon Quest
- and more

These new contents are coming in Genshin Impact version 3.5
Who are the new characters? The new playable 5-star character is the mercenary Dehya. She controls Pyro and wields a claymore weapon. Her constellation is called “Mantichora”.
In addition, Mika, a 4-star character from Mondstadt, will be available as a playable character in the game. He belongs to the Cryo element and uses a spear as a weapon. His constellation is called “Palumbus”.
Which banners will be available in version 3.5? There are two phases in the new version:
- In the first half, alongside Dehya, the Electro character Cyno will receive an event banner.
- In the second half, Kamisato Ayaka and Shenhe will receive rerun banners. Both are Cryo characters.
The new character Mika will also be obtainable through event banners.
What else will be in version 3.5? The biggest event in the new version will be the Windblume Festival in Mondstadt, to which Collei from Sumeru will also travel. There will be several limited-time games, and you can secure a special claymore weapon called “Mailed Flower” along with Primogems.
Additionally, there will be more events like “Fungus Mechanicus” or the “Vibro-Crystal Verification Challenge Event”.
A new Archon Quest will also be added, where you will continue to experience the story of the twins, with Dainsleif and Kaeya involved as well. Moreover, Faruzan will receive a Hangout Quest.
Additionally, players can look forward to a special reward: For every Archon Quest you have completed, you will now receive additional rewards in version 3.5. Among these is one intertwined fate for each completed Archon Quest.
