In Call of Duty: Warzone, positions on roofs are very popular and extremely strong. If you want to take over a roof, it often comes with a lot of risks and coordination. However, there is a trick that can save you a lot of trouble.
Elevated positions are strong in Call of Duty: Warzone. Teams that have taken the “High Ground” often have an advantage over the enemies below them.
Soldiers in the Battle Royale are always looking for ways to efficiently clear roofs, and reddit has now discovered a really strong tactic to rid the roofs of many tall buildings of camper infestations.
What is this trick? It is a combination of using a killstreak along with a rather unpopular rocket launcher. You drive the enemies with the streak and finish them off with the JOKR launcher. MeinMMO shows you how to do it and what else the JOKR can do.
The JOKR is a surprisingly good tool against campers
How does the trick work exactly? To execute the tactic, you need 3 requirements:
- A roof with campers that only has a staircase as access
- The JOKR rocket launcher at the ready
- A cluster strike or precision airstrike
Once you’ve spotted the campers, you should find out what structure the roof has. Ideally, roofs that only have one access via a staircase are best. Generally, the trick also works if there are multiple staircases. However, it may be that you do not catch the whole team. Furthermore, the staircase must be structured so that you can look up from the bottom to the very top.
Take the JOKR in hand, stand at the bottom of the staircase, and place a cluster or precision air strike directly in front of you on the ground. The enemies on the roof will now receive a warning that a killstreak is incoming. Since there are often no good cover options for fire from above on the roofs, there is a good chance that the roof campers will barricade themselves in the staircase.
If you hear that your killstreak is about to hit, aim the JOKR straight up into the staircase and lock onto one of the enemies. After firing, the rocket goes straight up and hits the roof of the staircase. The impacts of the JOKR take out enemies within a 5-meter radius with full armor (600 damage), and the chances are good that you will wipe the entire camper team off the map.

What else can the JOKR do? The rocket launcher is an exciting weapon in Warzone, but often it is not worth taking one along.
Such situations are too rare when the launcher can actually show its full strengths. The anti-tank system is actually a powerful anti-camper tool, but that’s all it is. A normal weapon as a secondary weapon or another launcher that works better against vehicles usually helps you more.
Nevertheless, it might be worth taking the JOKR with you if you often find yourself in situations where campers at higher positions are giving you a hard time. Because the JOKR is virtually a mini-cluster strike without the corresponding impact warning.

If you are already in battle with a team, use the JOKR in situations where you have already knocked an enemy down. The enemies feel safe behind their cover, but can often still be targeted by the JOKR. Fire a rocket afterward and take out the teammate who wants to revive your kill.
Often, it’s small tricks like these that give you a big advantage over players who rely solely on their skills with weapon aiming.
