The release of the NVIDIA GeForce 2060 is still in January. The graphics card is stronger than a GTX 1070 Ti but costs less.
During their press conference at CES 2019, NVIDIA announced the latest member of their RTX family. The GeForce RTX 2060 is expected to be available for €369 and will be released later this month, on January 15, 2019.
How much performance does the RTX 2060 have? NVIDIA explains that the RTX 2060 runs 60% faster than a GTX 1060 in current titles. The GTX 1060 is the most popular card of the last generation.
The gameplay of the GTX 1070 Ti is surpassed by the RTX 2060, according to the report. One reason for this could be the faster memory, which runs at 7000 MHz instead of 4000 MHz. Thanks to the NVIDIA Turing architecture with Tensor cores, Battlefield 5 runs at 60 FPS with ray tracing on the RTX 2060.
