GeForce Now loses many more games with Bethesda besides ESO and Fallout 76. Another setback for GeForce Now after Blizzard’s cancellation. What’s happening?
What is GeForce Now? GeForce Now is a cloud gaming service from Nvidia. You can stream games from Steam via the cloud, for example. To play, you no longer need fast hardware, just a good internet connection.
What happened? In an official post, Nvidia announced (via nvidia) that all Bethesda games will be removed from GeForce Now. These include:
- Fallout 3 and 76
- Fallout New Vegas
- The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim and Special Edition
- Doom (2016)
- Dishonored and Dishonored 2
- The Evil Within 2
- Elder Scrolls Online
Games like Elder Scrolls Online only worked with the Steam client anyway: Anyone who purchased Elder Scrolls Online through Bethesda itself could not use the game on GeForce Now even before.

GeForce Now without ESO and Fallout 76
Which Bethesda game can I still play? The only title that remains available and playable is the shooter Wolfenstein: Youngblood. All other titles will no longer be supported.
Is Wolfenstein: Youngblood worth it?
What is Wolfenstein: Youngblood? Wolfenstein: Youngblood is a cooperative shooter from the Wolfenstein series. The story takes place 19 years after the end of the last part “A New Colossus”. The player takes on the roles of the two daughters of the previous hero BJ Blazkowicz, and the game is designed for cooperative play.
The game featured, among other things, the cool feature that for the coop part, only one of the two players needed to buy the game. Overall, we at MeinMMO liked the game and we gave you reasons why Youngblood is great for newcomers.
Why is this not the only bad news? Just recently, Activision Blizzard removed its games from GeForce Now which upset players. Also, a player was banned after a few minutes of gameplay while using GeForce Now.
A silver lining is that Nvidia promised that in 2020, Cyberpunk 2077 from CD PROJEKT RED will definitely come with full ray tracing support.
