With each new update to Genshin Impact, a beta phase also begins. Each time, leaks of upcoming patches are diligently posted. This time, leaks show the upcoming banners and individual images of future content.
Update of August 20: Following the preview event for version 2.1, the following leaks have been confirmed:
- Release date of Baal, Sara, and Kokomi
- The gameplay of Baal, Sara, Kokomi, and Aloy
- Individual images from the reddit thread
- The “Moonchase Event” and its rewards
- Additionally, fishing has been confirmed, which we covered in this article

What is it about? The new leaks promise things many players have wished for: banner reruns. Ganyu, Hu Tao, and Albedo are said to be the next ones to receive them. However, first the banners of Baal (Raiden Shogun), Sara, Kokomi, and Yae will appear. All four characters have already been officially announced.
If the order of the leaker Upatcha1 (via Twitter) is correct, the banner of Baal and Sara would appear after the Yoimiya banner. This would be right in time for the release of patch 2.1 on September 1. Afterwards, the banners would release as follows, if the timing and updates remain the same:
- Kokomi: September 21
- Yae: October 13
- Ganyu: November 2
- Hu Tao: November 24
- Albedo: December 14
GenshinUpdate also aligns with the Baal and Kokomi banner data (via Twitter).
The Genshin Impact players among you who are waiting for Gorou may be pleased, as he is rumored to appear in Genshin patch 2.3:

He has also been officially announced by miHoYo and has already appeared in the story of Inazuma.

In the gallery of the post, you can see an image at the top showing a decorated location. This is likely to belong to the “Moonchase Event”. You can also check the supposed rewards for the event on reddit:
One of the rewards, the weapon “Luxurious Sea-Lord”, was already extensively posted in July by abc64real on Twitter.
