Two streamers talked on Twitch about their income. Even the friend of one of the streamers was shocked by her wealth.
Which streamers are they? The two streamers Rachell “Valkyrae” Hofstetter and Brittany “Cinna” Watts are both gaming influencers active on Twitch.
Valkyrae, also sometimes called Rae, has over 1.4 million followers and an average of 10,179 viewers per stream (via sullygnome). Cinna has over 630,000 followers on Twitch and captivates an average of 5,403 viewers per stream (via sullygnome).
Both stream video games, but occasionally they also hold streams where they have planned various activities.
Valkyrae and Cinna are major streamers in the international scene. In the video, we present three prominent Twitch streamers from the German region:
“I am as rich as Rae when I close my eyes”
During a car ride, Valkyrae’s personal assistant, Emily, sides with her employer in a small back-and-forth with Cinna. Cinna then replies that she could pay Emily what Valkyrae pays her and add a little on top.
She continues joking that she could now compare her wealth with Valkyrae while an advertisement is playing on Twitch. A statement for which she is humorously teased by her own cameraman, as she apparently is not as rich as Valkyrae.
After the commercial break, the topic comes up again. Cinna says: “I am as rich as Rae when I close my eyes” (via YouTube).
Valkyrae responds that she has been blessed with three YouTube exclusive contracts, to which Cinna reacts in shock. Such a contract binds the streamer to stream only on that particular platform, and in return, they are compensated with a significant sum of money. This is based on how many followers the streamer has.
Rae, on the other hand, is surprised that Cinna was not aware of this: “Why do you think I stayed on YouTube for so long?” (via YouTube). She further explains that she had these contracts over the course of five years. However, she could not specify the exact amount for which she had bound herself to YouTube.
The exact wealth of Valkyrae is not known. In an interview on the JasonTheWeen YouTube channel, Valkyrae gave a hint about how rich she really is. When asked if she has under or over $10 million in the bank, she answers “over” (via YouTube).
Cinna herself is also not unsuccessful. Although she has not yet been offered an exclusive contract from a platform, the fact that she has over 630,000 followers on Twitch and can afford her own cameraman should be enough indication of her financial blessing.
