The Chinese giant Tencent is one of the largest gaming companies in the world. To promote their game PUBG Mobile, they plan to spend millions of euros on content creators. Anyone who has reached a certain number of followers can apply.
What exactly is this action about? PUBG Mobile has launched the “Next Star Program”. They are handing out a total of rewards worth 100 million dollars (87 million euros). The rewards include:
- Incentives in the form of cash
- Special training to become a better creator
- Exclusive access to new content
- In-game items of all kinds
- Promotion through the official channels
- Contact with pro players
However, how exactly these rewards will be distributed is not revealed by the developer Quantum Studio and the publisher Tencent. Nevertheless, this amount is enormous and shows that Tencent is mainly focusing on the mobile game.
Because for the PC and console versions, there is only a slimmed-down “Appreciation Program”, through which players can create a kind of reflink and earn money from their followers’ purchases.
How can you participate in “Next Star”? Anyone who wants to join the PUBG Mobile program must meet certain requirements. You need at least 50,000 followers on YouTube, TikTok, or Twitch. Additionally, you must provide a constant level of quality and be passionate players.

What is PUBG Mobile? This battle royale is the mobile version of PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds. As in the PC version, you can compete against other players using various weapons and vehicles on huge maps. The fight continues until only one person is left alive.
The mobile version also frequently engages in collaborations and cross-promotions of all kinds. There has already been a partnership with Resident Evil and recently with the LoL series Arcane. This keeps attracting new players to the shooter.
