At the start of gamescom 2021, there will be a grand opening show. When the Opening Night Live starts, where you can watch it, and how everything will unfold, you can find out here on MeinMMO.
The gamescom 2021 will again take place digitally, but that shouldn’t stop you from learning the latest info from the gaming sector.
As in the previous year, where according to the organizer over two million viewers were admitted – there will also be an opening show in 2021 called Opening Night Live (ONL).
And of course, we at MeinMMO, together with our partners from GameStar and GamePro, will be there to provide you with the full program for gamescom 2021 on our Twitch channel MAX.
Here are all the infos about the Opening Night Live
When does it start? The Opening Night Live starts on August 25. It begins with a 30-minute pre-show that starts at 7:30 PM. The main program starts at 8:00 PM.
Where can I watch the ONL? As in previous years, we will follow the ONL on our Twitch channel MAX and will remain live on air even after that. We will discuss what we’ve seen in detail. Alternatively, you can also watch the show on the official Twitch channel of the gamescom.
Otherwise, there are more channels broadcasting the event, including well-known influencers like Gronkh, Trymacs, and Papaplatte, who will showcase their own project with the gaming party.
Who will host the show? The show is hosted, as always, by Geoff Keighley, who is known as the host and producer of the Game Awards.
In 2021, Natascha from the GameStar team will be assisting him.
What does the ONL program look like? According to the organizer, there are over 30 games that will be presented this time.
These include updates to well-known games, but also various new announcements that possibly no one knows yet.
What else is there? The presentation of the gamescom awards will also be a topic of the ONL. The application phase has already ended and who has won what will also be revealed on August 25, 2021.
