The user reached out on reddit to the community and explained that he would like to play the Flight Simulator. However, as soon as he enters big cities, the frame rate collapses. Meanwhile, YouTubers with the same system can play much better. He writes:

What is the solution to the problem? As some users explain, the issues for the Flight Simulator are not unusual. Many players have the problem of suddenly getting abysmally low frame rates in large cities on their systems. In fact, there are two approaches to solving this:
- Either you can turn off certain telemetry data for accuracy (geography). The map in the game then becomes less accurate, but the frame rate recovers.
- Or you can reinstall Windows to eliminate the problem.
The second idea is not liked by most players, as reinstalling Windows is not exactly a task of a few minutes.

What can you do if the FPS is very low? Basically, you should first check the game’s requirements. If your hardware is too weak, then the game “stutters.”

However, it’s best to have your old GPU software as a backup in the background, in case the problems unexpectedly become larger. Because in this case, you can reinstall your old software suite.
Another option would be to thoroughly clean your gaming PC. Because dust and dirt block fans, and your hardware can overheat. In this case, your hardware throttles down to cope with the heat.
