Graphics cards are getting larger and bulkier. This is something a gamer had to learn when he bought a new graphics card. It was so big that it no longer fit into his system. At least at first glance, because the problem actually lies with his other components.
CPU coolers and other components require too much space
What is the problem? The gamer explained on reddit that he has assembled a new gaming system. In his picture, his problem can be clearly seen: The graphics card is way too big, and it doesn’t really fit into the case – at least that’s what the owner of the graphics card believes.
How can the problem be solved? As some users explain, the case is more than large enough for his graphics card. The problem is rather that the user did not seem to give much thought to the installation of the components.
The main problem is primarily his CPU cooler, which he has mounted in such a way that there is hardly any space for his graphics card and other components. Therefore, some recommend that he mount the CPU cooler higher and move the radiator to the top.
A look into the manual can save a lot of time (and work)
If you are building a new system, take a look at the included manuals. These come with almost every component, either in analog or digital form.
Basically, a motherboard is still a motherboard, but some manufacturers rely on special connectors that you can only find with this manufacturer or specific products. In particular, cases often use clever mechanisms to hide cables or components. Therefore, before you forcefully break open your case, take a look at the manual. Most issues can be resolved quickly this way.
Even if you may already be assembling your tenth or twentieth gaming PC, it can still be worthwhile to glance at the manual in many cases.
