On Twitch, a frustrated streamer tried to lecture her viewers. They should donate and subscribe to a paid membership. The clip went viral as an example of a misguided attitude. It was ridiculed by some of the biggest streamers, including Turner “Tfue” Tenney and DrDisrespect.
This was the scene: The Twitch streamer BadBunny has 92,394 followers on Twitch and primarily streams in “Just Chatting”. During a stream, she berated her viewers, saying she had given a speech about needing subscriptions, yet not a single person subscribed afterward:
BadBunny sounds genuinely offended in the clip, wondering how viewers can watch her for hours without financially supporting her.
There are regular viewers here. 5 DOLLARS A MONTH. How can you have enough time to watch me for hours, yet you don’t even have 5 dollars? What are you doing with your life?

With a subscription on Twitch, a viewer pays $5 a month, of which the streamer receives about half.
In a second scene, she then states that she hadn’t received a donation or a subscription for an hour. Therefore, she had worked for an hour for free: “What the fuck?”
This is the reception: The scene quickly spread within the community and was pointed out as an example of a completely misguided attitude of a Twitch streamer.
Viewers “owed” nothing to a streamer; they had no entitlement to donations or paid subscriptions.
The idea is that a streamer entertains viewers so well that they voluntarily spend money, but there is no obligation that can be demanded.
Tfue and DrDisrespect suddenly have outbursts
This is how she is imitated: The case of BadBunny made big waves. Consequently, some of the biggest stars on Twitch mocked her.
Guy “DrDisrespect” Beahm has a scene where he is supposedly speeding around in his Lambo while on the phone with his agent, saying he has been live for 10 minutes and not enough people are subscribing. He doesn’t work for free!
Even the biggest streamer on Twitch, Fortnite star Turner “Tfue” Tenney, makes fun of BadBunny: He streams all the time and teaches the viewers the game but people don’t give him enough money.
He will end his stream immediately if people don’t donate.
