Transmog Collectors in WoW should perk up their ears. Soon there will be loot raining down from the old Legion dungeons. We will reveal what is changing.
World of Warcraft: Legion was one of the coolest expansions that Azeroth has ever seen. This was not only due to the story and the gameplay but also because of the cool sets available in the various raids and dungeons. The transmog items from Legion are highly sought after and are in high demand among players. However, they are unusually hard to farm – but that is about to change. Legion will receive early “Legacy Loot”.
What is currently the problem? In the dungeons and raids from the old expansion “Legion”, even for characters at level 120, the “Personal Loot” rule still applies. This means that you get only one item or even no items per boss. Although raids like the “Emerald Nightmare” can now easily be tackled solo, it can happen that you only see 1-2 items in the whole raid. This is frustrating and causes dissatisfaction among transmog collectors – because legacy loot was worse than expected in Legion.
What will change? With the next server maintenance, “Legacy Loot” will be implemented for all dungeons and raids in Legion. The loot rules that apply in all other old raids and dungeons will then take effect. Bosses in dungeons and raids will then drop a fixed number of items, but may also drop items that are not suitable for your own class.
As an example, Blizzard cited the boss Nythendra (Emerald Nightmare) on Mythic difficulty. If you kill Nythendra currently, she leaves 0-1 items for a single player. After the change, she will always drop 5 items.
When is the change coming? Starting with the server maintenance on Wednesday, April 1st, bosses in the dungeons and raids of Legion will drop their maximum amount of loot.
What does this mean? Above all, transmog collectors who want to complete their sets from Legion praise this adjustment. It makes the old raids really worthwhile again and a good source for great cosmetic equipment.
