Instead of technology, animal strength is the focus here. This Sparrow probably comes closest to mounts from other MMO games, even if it is not a “real” animal companion.
Where can you get the bear? Polar Vortex, the Baloo among the Sparrows, could be acquired by Guardians during the Dawn event 2019 in the Eververse for Silver.
7. Echo of the Heralds
Here’s why the Sparrow is so cool: The Sparrow comes with a wicked Taken appearance that Guardians have come to love in their Exotics. This dark rot pulses on the surface of the vehicle, showing that Guardians do not fear their enemies, but tame them.
The Sparrow is surrounded by a mysterious aura, making it even more interesting.

8. Jötunnier
Here’s why the Sparrow is so cool: The Sparrow bears a name and appearance clearly resembling the notorious Exotic Jötunn. This thing is a cult weapon and often joked about as a toaster – fans even digitally brought the joke to life.
However, Jötunn is anything but a joke, as shown in our ranking of the most annoying PvP weapons: the deadly toaster took first place.
The Jötunnier stands here as a representative for Exotics that have been interpreted as vehicles. Other such Sparrows include:
- Golden Pride – Model: Lion’s Roar
- The Bronco – Model: The Huckleberry and the Prospector
- The Necro Beast – Model: Bad Karma
Where can you get the speedsters? All of the Exotic Weapon Sparrows are or were available from Tess in the Eververse. So keep an eye out for a Bright Dust offer.
9. Our First Sparrow
Here’s why the Sparrow is so cool: Here, we honor all green Sparrows out there, which may seem simple, but have done great things for Guardians.
Those who started with the Destiny 2 campaign in 2017 had no access to a Sparrow for a long time. Do you remember the blisters on your feet from exploring Io on foot?
The first Sparrow didn’t look particularly special, but it was like balm for the battered feet and a huge time-saver.
10. The Ugliest Sparrow: SK-1 World Traveler
Here’s why the Sparrow is so ugly: This Sparrow is almost pitiful. It needs training wheels, has a completely inappropriate dish in the middle (satellite dish?) and is anything but aerodynamically refined.
Unlike the Micro-Mini, which comes off as playful, this vehicle with its undynamic design is not at all amusing, but an insult to all exotic Sparrows.
Where can you get the “speedster”? Anyone looking to clutter their vehicle inventory with the SK-1 World Traveler can now grab it in Season 11 from Tess in the Eververse.
