What is Friendly Fire? Friendly Fire is a charitable event that is held annually by Twitch streamers Erik “Gronkh” Range and the gamer group PietSmiet. During the event, content creators from the German Twitch and YouTube scene play together or host entertaining activities.
All of this is for a good cause. Over the past years, more than 8 million euros in donations have been collected. On December 2, 2023, Friendly Fire enters its 9th round. You can find out what this year’s motto is and what else you need to know on MeinMMO.

What theme does Friendly Fire 9 have? This year’s main sponsor of the event is Forza Motorsport from Xbox. In line with the racing game franchise, there is also a new teaser trailer with plenty of horsepower.
The merchandise that can be pre-ordered in the Friendly Fire shop also follows the high-revving theme.
When does Friendly Fire 9 start? The donation marathon is set to start on December 2, 2023, at 3:00 PM. However, a pre-show is already planned to start at 2:00 PM.
Where can I watch Friendly Fire 9? This year, Friendly Fire will be held on the Twitch channel of Gronkh. He will warm up the audience starting at 2 PM. With the trailer embedded here, you can get in the mood already:
Who is participating in Friendly Fire 9? The lineup in 2023 remains unchanged, consisting of Erik “Gronkh” Range, the “PietSmiet” team, Tatjana “Pandorya” Werth, Pascal “MrMoreGame” Rothkegel, Florian “Der Heider” Heider, Artur “fisHC0p” Niemczuk, and Max “PhunkRoyal” Ensikat.
To which organizations does the money go? Friendly Fire 9 supports a variety of charitable organizations once again, which we have listed for you here. The money is being raised in cooperation with the donation platform betterplace.org.

How did Friendly Fire 8 go? In 2022, the donation marathon lasted approximately 12 hours and reached up to 86,000 simultaneous viewers, with around 80,000 consistently following along. It was only after midnight that the viewer numbers started to decline.
