Hand of the Gods: SMITE Tactics launches today on PS4 and Xbox One into closed beta. The turn-based collectible card game is free to play and builds upon the mythological universe of the god-MOBA SMITE. Through an additional game board, Hand of the Gods gains a special strategic depth.
Console players who enjoy strategic games can rejoice. Hand of the Gods: SMITE Tactics starts its closed beta today on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One and is free to play.
Hand of the Gods is a turn-based strategy game where you duel with cards.
In this game, you assemble your own decks and fight with the mythological characters and gods known from the action-MOBA SMITE. Hand of the Gods is developed by Hi-Rez Studios.
Hand of the Gods is a mix of Hearthstone and Xcom
Each pantheon has a ruler like Anubis or Zeus, who possesses special abilities and cards. These can be combined with neutral cards, allowing for various play styles and tactics.
The unique aspect of Hand of the Gods is that it features a game board in addition to the card deck. With the cards, you summon your units directly onto the chessboard battlefield and command them.
You need to carefully consider the positioning of your units. The goal is to destroy your opponent’s summoner stone using your units and god powers.
