What game are we talking about? Hawked is a free extraction shooter that stands out with colorful graphics, comic style, and fast-paced action. The game was already released on Steam in Early Access in December 2023. Now it is also live on PS5/PS4 and Xbox Series X|S.

What to expect in Hawked? The trailer gives you a good sense of the fast-paced action that awaits you in Hawked:
- As Renegades, you will be dropped on an island full of ancient ruins to search for relics of a forgotten civilization.
- The ruins and temples are full of traps, puzzles, and dangerous creatures.
- As a team of three, you will fight against other players and monsters, solve puzzles, and collect glyphs to obtain the main artifact.
- The goal is to leave the island safely with your loot without being robbed by competitors or dying.
Comic effects accompany you throughout the game
Especially the comic style makes the game stand out. As seen in the trailer, the fights are accompanied by effects resembling comics or animated series.
For example, when you shoot with your pistol, it is accompanied by a “BANG” text, or suddenly little exclamation marks appear everywhere when you surprise your opponents.
The trailer also shows a bit about the character editor. Here, you have quite a bit of freedom in choosing colors, and you can select your skin, eyes, and hair from the complete RGB spectrum. This way, your characters fit well into this comic style.
