Fractured is to become a classic sandbox MMORPG where players can forge their own path and explore vast worlds thanks to SpatialOS. It was funded through Kickstarter. However, Fractured does not rely on traditional leveling. Instead, you learn new skills through a Knowledge System that you then have to master in specific challenges. The focus is also on crafting and the unique approach to PvP, which is tied to races. Currently, the MMORPG is in alpha, where backers can already participate. Additionally, there are irregular stress tests in which anyone can join. A release is expected no earlier than 2021.
