Fortnite introduces new skins after each update. Some have been designed by Epic Games themselves, while others belong to crossovers. These skins bring variety to the game, as you don’t always want to play with the same character. We at MeinMMO show what you can expect soon.
Now that Rick has arrived in Fortnite through the battle pass of chapter 2 season 7, Rick and Morty fans are likely wondering if there’s more to come.
Mecha-Morty will soon appear in the item shop – This suggests what’s to come
Hypex, a well-known leaker in the Fortnite scene, discovered after the latest patch 17.40 that a new Rick and Morty skin will be available soon. The Morty skin, as assumed, will cost 1,200 – 1,500 V-bucks in the item shop and includes a red backpack.
But that’s not all, an emote that fits the skin will also be released, named ‘Get Swifty’. Here’s a depiction of the skin with the matching emote:
Could there be more to come? Further skins might be possible in the future, as this fits very well with Rick and Morty. Fortnite has also shown in the past that they do not limit themselves to just one skin in crossovers. This can be seen with the entire Marvel skins.
Due to the various parallel universes that appear in the series, additional styles of Rick and Morty are possible. But whether more will follow and which ones they will be, remains to be seen. At least we can look forward to another Rick and Morty skin.
