Fortnite: Battle Royale will soon change again. The cube seems to be about to burst and dataminers have probably already found out what will happen to the map.
What will happen on Sunday? For several days the cube floating above Leaky Lake is starting to crumble. According to Epic, a big event is scheduled for Sunday, November 4 at 7:00 PM. It will probably finally tear the cube apart.
Some sources also mention a “Butterfly Event”. There are indications that such an insect (possibly just as a representation) emerges from the cube. This would also mark the end of the Halloween Event and among other things remove the annoying zombies from the game.
Dataminers find clues about a new location
What happens after the event? Whatever happens on Sunday, the cube and the floating islands will probably no longer exist. According to a new data leak, changes to the map are expected again.
The latest findings have revealed an image of islands. These could be the remnants of the floating island currently shattered into several pieces over the lake.
If the pieces fall, they could create a similar picture as seen in the leak and the embedded image here. The lake would no longer be a large area with one island, but a collection of numerous islets, where fierce battles would break out.
Parts of the cube may fly all over the map, creating new effects or collectible items. According to leaks, there is probably a butterfly image when the cube bursts. And other sources even mention rainbows that emerge from the lake.
