On the weekend, the 7th round of the qualification for the lucrative Fortnite World Championship took place. This time it was played solo. Once again, Twitch star Ninja is left behind. On the other hand, strong performance from Tfue, who seems to be clearing his head. We are looking at the standings of the Fortnite World Championship Week 7.
How many chances are left? On the weekend, round 7 of the qualification took place:
- This was the penultimate chance for solo players to qualify for the World Championship
- Duo players have 2 chances left for the World Championship in weeks 8 and 10
The qualification theoretically becomes easier from week to week, as the top players qualify and no longer compete for the last spots, yet the competition is fierce, as two of the biggest streamers in the world experienced.

How did Ninja perform? To qualify for the Fortnite World Championship, Ninja needed 58 points over the weekend, but he was likely far from it. He managed to play into Sunday, but it wasn’t enough for a spot in the top 100 of his division.
A comment came via Twitter: “I started off so well and then got caught twice in the game with a heavy sniper rifle.”
However, Ninja is still looking forward to the duo rounds next week with his partner.
How did Reverse2k do? Ninja’s duo partner for the Fortnite World Championship, Reverse2k, had a much better weekend than Ninja. He secured 2nd place in NA East with 69 points, thus booking a ticket for the Fortnite World Championship. This guarantees him $50,000.
Reverse2k suddenly came into the spotlight of Fortnite as an “unknown player” in August 2018 because he performed excellently in a tournament and received a touching call from his father.
How did Tfue do: There is currently a lot of commotion around player Turner “Tfue” Tenney, the second major Fortnite streamer besides Ninja. He had a great weekend at the solo qualifiers, finishing in 5th place.
This would theoretically qualify him again for New York. But he had already achieved this two weeks ago.
Tfue and his partner Cloak now have two chances left to qualify as a duo for the World Championship.
Tfue managed to qualify solo despite a lot of trouble with his clan FaZe and issues with the pirate cannon: He struggled with the cannon over the weekend and was at times quite frustrated.

What about Myth? The number 3 Fortnite streamer on Twitch, TSM_Myth, has not yet qualified for the Fortnite World Championship like Ninja. Although he managed to play into Sunday, he then expressed his grievances on Twitter.
Two kids had him in a bind, now he sat on the toilet to tweet so he wouldn’t tilt.
It looks like the Fortnite World Championship in June might actually lack star power. Of the 3 biggest Twitch streamers, only Tfue is currently participating.
