“Throw baskets in different places” is one of the challenges of week 2 in Season 5 of Fortnite: Battle Royale. We will explain how you can throw the basketball into the basket in Fortnite and where to find the 9 basketball courts in Fortnite.
First, get the ball: To complete this challenge from week 2 of Season 5, you need a basketball. You can only get one when you reach level 11 in the Season 5 Battle Pass. But don’t worry, this level is easy to achieve.
Then equip the ball: Go into your locker menu and place the ball in one of the primary slots. This way, you’ll have it ready without having to scroll through all your emotes and actions in-game. After all, a John Wick might sneak up on you from behind!
How to throw baskets at basketball courts in Fortnite – Here’s how
This is how you throw baskets: If you’re observant, you might have already found one or the other basketball court in the game. Indeed, you don’t have to do much more than go to the locations and throw a basket there.
Stand a little distance from the basket, press the corresponding button (“B” on PC), and select the basketball. Release the button, and the ball will fly to the basket, scoring a point. You need to do this at a total of 5 locations, and you will have completed the challenge.

More than enough playgrounds: As mentioned, you only need to throw a basket 5 times. It just has to be at five different locations. However, there are far more in the game. Currently, nine are known.
Selected locations of basketball courts
The baskets are located at the following places in the game:
- Junk Junction: The basketball court is north of the main building.
- Snobby Shores: There is also a basket in the backyard of one of the villas.
- Soccer Hall: The soccer hall is west of Tilted Towers. The basket is to the west of it.
- Greasy Grove: The basket is in the northwest.
- Tilted Towers: It may be dangerous here, but there’s loot too.
- Southwest of Salty Springs: There is a mountain with a house between Salty Springs and Fatal Fields. There is a shabby basket there.
- Retail Row: The southernmost house there has a basketball court.
- Camping Site: East of Retail Row is a large camping site for RVs. There is also a basketball court there.
- Paradise Palms: There is also a basketball court in the east of the city.
But be careful: Especially around Tilted Towers, Greasy Grove, or Paradise Palms, there are many enemies around. And some Omega Wick shows no mercy and will shoot you even if you just want to peacefully throw a ball. Especially at Paradise Palms, kills are the trend this week, so be careful and maybe wait until later in the game to go to these places if they are not in the safe storm zone.
