In Fortnite: Battle Royale seems that John Wick will play a role again soon. According to leaks, the cool assassin is getting his own event and even has a house in Season 9!
What kind of event is it about? According to data miners, a new event is planned called Wick’s Bounty. This is a mode where you need to kill opponents. However, for your kills to count, you need to collect coins that your dead opponents leave behind after they die.
There seems to be a return of the legendary John Wick skin and a separate challenge series. In this, you need to collect coins and deal damage with the new combat shotgun.
Interestingly, there is also a new “Tactical Assault Rifle” coming soon, which according to the leak should also deal damage to opponents.
What else supports John Wick? The fact that Wick will soon play a role in Fortnite is further supported by another curious detail. In Paradise Palms, there is according to Reddit a house that looks exactly like John Wick’s house!

When is the event coming? If the Wick event really takes place, then late May would be the most likely date. Because on May 17, 2019, John Wick: Chapter 3 comes to US cinemas (the release here is on May 23), and if Epic has a partnership with the film studio, the event could appear as promotion for the movie release.
The Return of Wick
Who is John Wick? John Wick, played by Keanu Reeves, is a hitman who has actually retired. But when Russian gangsters steal his car and kill his puppy, he seeks bitter revenge.

In a marathon of violence and very cool fight scenes, Wick slashes through hordes of hapless gangsters in 2 films.
Due to his excellent fight choreography and surprisingly realistic shooting scenes, John Wick is considered a cult film among action fans.
What does John Wick actually do in Fortnite? When Season 3 was released in early 2018, there was to the surprise of all fans a skin at level 100, which although called “Grim Reaper”, looked extremely similar to John Wick.

Quickly, the “Wick” became a hated skin, as according to many players it was primarily worn by “tryhards”, that is, humorless players who played for maximum effectiveness and preferred to shoot people who were just doing challenges or wanted to experience other fun events in the game. So to speak, what many players now consider to be the soccer skins.
I, Jürgen, was also killed by Wicks more often when I was collecting information for challenges or wanted to take screenshots. That was before the creative mode, and you had to play everything live in regular matches.

Nevertheless, many players do not have the Wick in their arsenal, as not everyone started with Season 3. Therefore, it will be interesting to see if Epic offers the Wick again in the shop and whether it will be the same skin as before.
This would be an absolute novelty, as so far skins from past Battle Passes have never returned. Therefore, it is more likely that there will be a “real” Wick when the event starts, and the unofficial “Grim Reaper Wick” remains exclusive to those who earned him in Season 3.
