What kind of sites are these? Sites like newfreeskins advertise free skins. No matter which skin you want, you’re supposed to be able to easily and freely generate it on these sites.
Similar to the V-Bucks generators, with which you can supposedly generate a lot of V-Bucks, this is supposed to work here as well.
What happens when you open one of these sites? When you click on it, a page appears asking you to enter your Epic username and the platform you play on.
Once you have done this, you can supposedly “generate” the skin. However, once the process is completed, a message appears stating that you need to complete a short “Sponsor Activity” to help pay for the skins.
Actually, Fortnite skins should be free, but it is mentioned there that you first need to complete the activity to help with the payment for the skins. This should make every user skeptical.

Why you should never use such sites: You should not use such sites, as there is no guarantee that you will actually receive the skins or that you might have to pay for them instead. Furthermore, it is not allowed to acquire skins outside of the Fortnite Shop – this could also result in an account penalty.
You should not share your data such as your Epic name or password. This could lead to your data being stolen or your account being hacked. You might even lose your Epic account with all purchases. We strongly advise against using generators, hacks, or such dubious sites.
Why are such sites of great interest?
Why do players pay attention to these? Skins can only be obtained for V-Bucks in Fortnite. When there are free skins, they usually come from a special event, but this rarely happens.
